Dr. Mark Wise

Travel Bugs columnist Dr. Mark Wise is a family doctor in Toronto, specializing in travel and tropical medicine. He is the director of The Travel Clinic and acts as medical advisor to numerous NGOs and is on the board of Canadian Feed the Children. He has travelled to most of the places where you might consider volunteering.

Just because you've made it home doesn't mean you are out of the woods! Dr. Mark Wise takes a look at a few of the more common post-travel health issues, and what to do about them.
Seeking medical help at home can sometimes be challenging, but when you need it abroad, you'd better be prepared.
