MEDASSET is seeking nature-loving volunteers to participate in a sea turtle nesting survey on the island of Lefkada, western Greece, in July 2012. Volunteers are needed to conduct daily surveys on the beaches of the island and identify sea turtle nests for a period of two weeks. Complete training on nest identification and additional education on sea turtles will be provided to all volunteers. Our team will be based at a local camping site, and volunteers will have the opportunity to visit sites of environmental and cultural importance in the area.
