Canada Builds: A New Way for Canadians to Volunteer and Support Habitat Projects Nationwide

Habitat for Humanity Canada has launched a new way for Canadians to engage in the mission of Habitat, travel, and give back to Canadian communities through Canada Builds, a program that sends teams of volunteers nationwide to support the construction of Habitat homes.

Since 2006, there’s been tremendous support from Canadians who have travelled abroad through Habitat for Humanity Global Village, but many communities in Canada could also benefit from this support. It’s been heartwarming to see the response of Canadians wanting to help fellow Canadians with the result that all 2014 trips are full.
