We invite you to find out about our volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are vital to operation of our programs. Our volunteers work on projects that provide the residents and carers in these homes with access to development focused resources that would not normally be available. In the homes for regularly functioning children we run extracurricular activities, gardening projects, and one on one cognitive and physical development sessions with babies. In homes for children or young adults with disabilities we have started a multi sensorial therapy program which our volunteers are also a part of. In addition to this we provide personal development workshops for the carers and educators in these homes, to help them cope with the difficulties of their work environment. We take on volunteers in operational and administrative roles. Before beginning your placement we would take into account your skills and desires, which would be built into your volunteer agreement. Volunteers who work with the children must stay for 1 month minimum, but more would of course be great!
