Poverty Fighters Network accepts volunteers with skills and experience who would like to get involved in office-based or field based volunteering assignments in Nepal. Poverty fighters works in the areas of healthcare, educational development, agricultural development, child development, environment and sanitation, rural infrastructure development (construction of public infrastructure), program development & management etc.
Field volunteers work towards the development of disadvantaged rural communities by participating in various development activities, depending on their skills, knowledge, areas of interest, experience and the needs of the community.
As a field volunteer, you can teach children, offer your creativity for child development, construct basic public infrastructure, provide primary health care service, work towards agricultural development, get involved in environment and sanitation activities, renovate community infrastructure, build capacity of women's groups, train local teachers, build or renovate homes for low-income families etc.
Office volunteers work in the office to manage volunteers, plan new programs, develop project proposals etc.
