University of Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences : Predoctoral Fellowship
The Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) offers a Predoctoral Fellowship program. The program is designed for particularly talented BA and BSc students who wish to proceed straight into their PhD, and who have a background in the social sciences or humanities and/or those who have a preliminary social-scientific research idea in mind.

There are three themes: Thematic Field A: Global Governance and Regional Integration
Thematic Field B: Welfare State, Inequality and Quality of Life
Thematic Field C: Changing Lives in Changing Socio-Cultural Contexts
Amount of the award
BIGSSS offers Predoctoral Fellowships of 800 Euros/month for 12 month for excellent BA and BSc graduates.
Eligibility - nationality
Based on academic excellence and background in Social Sciences. Note that accepted candidates must reside in Bremen.
