This two-week backpacking adventure that will allow trekkers to intimately experience Nepal's culture and environment while supporting grassroots programs that empower girls and fight poverty in the regions. Beginning in Lukla and traveling through the villages of Namche, Taksindu, and Salleri, trekkers will stay in tea houses and home stays throughout both the popular and less traveled areas of the Everest Region. Participants will visit several of Edge of Seven's completed projects, including a girl's hostel, and two schools. Half of the trip cost will go directly towards Edge of Seven's Community Development Program, which brings education and economic opportunity to girls in the developing world.
