Savannah Science Museum, Inc.

The Caretta Research Project is a hands-on research, conservation and education program that protects the threatened loggerhead sea turtles that nest on Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge. This work is performed from May through September each year, with the help of nearly 100 volunteers throughout the summer.
