2. GO!
by Kristen Pyper

Doing an exchange has allowed me to see the world differently. I now realize the impact that everything you do and everyone you meet has not only on yourself but on people and cultures from all over the world.

3. Two-Minute Travel Tale: Dominican Republic
by Ryan Kanine

In the summer of 2008 I traveled to the Dominican Republic to work with an organization called Orphanage Outreach. While there I volunteered at the local schools teaching English and got to witness the country's presidential election unfold in the streets around me.

4. Smile - A Costa Rican Adventure
by Alisha Somji

On April 30, students from the University of Western Ontario embarked on an adventure of a lifetime. We went Costa Rica for a medical service learning trip and came back with memories and meaningful travel experiences. We set up medical clinics to help the patients, but really the people we met in Costa Rica opened up our eyes to the world. They taught us so much about life. A simple smile means the world.

5. See the World - Change Yourself
by Paula Richardson

This video is about how my journey out into the world catalyzed a much deeper jouney inside myself. It tells a story about the meaningful lessons I have learned after working, volunteering and backpacking in more than 25 countries. Through my experience I learn that in order to be the change I want to see in this world, I have to start with myself.

6. A Swiss Cultural Experience
by Brendan Robertson

While on exchange in Switzerland, I am shocked to find out that this country (a developed nation!) has legalized child prostitution. Some local residents give their opinion on the subject, and I explore my own reactions and value judgments.

7. Making Connections in South America
by Terry Sebastian

A collection of photographs from Peru and Bolivia.

8. Michelle
by Todd Lorentz

This chronicles the struggle faced by little Michelle, an HIV/AIDS orphan who goes to a school in Bumala, Kenya. This tale of indomitable will documents her successful struggle for survival. Michelle's story went on to inspire the creation of a health clinic at her school, staffed by a full time nurse.
