The Global Learner Program:

Aims to promote global citizenship through the direct participation of youth in community-driven development projects. Global Learner provides youth participants with a rich educational experience through volunteer work placements, educational activities, host family living and critical reflection. The participants are given the tools and opportunities needed to develop an awareness of local and global issues, while gaining concrete leadership and cross-cultural communication skills.

Global Learner projects are developed and managed in close collaboration with our experienced international partner organizations, ensuring that they directly respond and contribute to the needs of the local community. Projects focus on health, environment, sustainable livelihoods, youth entrepreneurship or community development and have a direct, concrete and positive impact on the project communities.
